Video Editing is a New Tongue - I speak a bit unclear - perhaps I am running a bit too fast. I feel as though I can reveal new layers upon layers upon layers- I clearly have a lot to learn and I think I am going craZy with too many effects. But it really helps me think about my ideas visually and it is so exciting. the freedom to communicate my academic work through this medium where it can be shared. There are essences which are lost in the rigidity of 'traditional' academic work - feelings, moods, etc - The possibility of academic critique that can be shared is sweeet! Some words and ideas get lost in the small network between student professor and academic journal. The possibilities are radically altered when you do not know the audience - when you can engage in new mediums - and the possibility for creative invention of ideas is radically created. I am beginning to alter my perception as I look around the room - the layering of video editing - the frames - are ways of seeing - shaping our vision of the world. The possibility that I can create and share new/old ways of seeing has made me begin thinking in a new way -

Wow! I get what you said about going crazy with the layers, but that' awesome that you got those figured out. And it kind of gives a sense of the chaos of dealing with Anonymous and trying to sift though all the layers of meaning. Cool ^^
